چکیده
The aim of this research was the replacement conventional sample extraction techniques for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in tissue samples a reliable, fast and ecofriendly procedure. method developed using pressurized solvent assessing two different standard reference materials (fish mussel) freeze-dried fortified sardine (Sardinella sp.). Five procedures were evaluated best performance comprised 1 g lyophilized tissue, 5 deactivated (5%) silica, dichloromethane:methanol (4:1 v/v) mixture, temperature 80 °C, three cycles, 10 min static time 90 s purge time. selected following these tests further validated through analysis nine replicates National Institute Standard Technology (NIST) material No. 2976, resulting an effective recovery 83 ± 14%. means uncertainties attained each PAH equivalent to those material, corroborating reliability method. A shorter processing time, less use solvents reagents lower extract manipulation produced aligned with green-chemistry guidelines.

Accelerated Solvent Extraction (ASE®) of Hydrocarbon Contaminants (BTEX, Diesel, and TPH) in Soils
INTRODUCTION Underground storage tanks containing hydrocarbonbased fuels are found worldwide. Many of these underground storage tanks are known to have leaks, allowing gasoline, diesel or other fuels to contaminate the surrounding soil. As of 1992, there were two million underground tanks being monitored for leaks and an additional three million not monitored for leaks within the United States ...
متن کاملBiodegradation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in Petroleum Contaminated Soils
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are a class of potentially hazardous chemicals of environmental and health concern. PAHs are one of the most prevalent groups of contaminants found in soil. Biodegradation of complex hydrocarbon usually requires the cooperation of more than single specie. In this research biotreatment of PAH (phenanthrene) was studied in a solid-phase reactor using indigenou...

Hydrocarbon pollution is a perennial problem not only in India but throughout the globe. A plethora of microorganisms have been reported to be efficient degraders of these recalcitrant pollutants. One of the major concerns of environmental problem is the presence of hydrocarbons due to the various anthropogenic activities. PAHs are ubiquitous in nature i.e. present in soil, water and air. Prese...
